Manipulation aims to simply restore motion to Restricted joints

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, and the effects these disorders have on health and movement. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat complaints such as back pain, neck pain, and pain in the joints of the extremities.  The most common therapeutic procedure performed by Doctors of Chiropractic is known as “spinal manipulation,” or the “chiropractic adjustment.” The purpose of manipulation is to restore joint mobility to joints that have become restricted in their movement as a result of a tissue injury.

Dry Needling is an effective tool to address pain & Function

Dry needling is a skilled technique, perfromed by a trained sports chiropractor or physical therapist, aimed at managing neuromusculoskeletal injuries and pain while addressing movement dysfunction.  Dry Needling utilizes a thin filiform needle to penetrate skin, fascia and muscles to address adhesions, trigger points and connective tissue to speed healing and relieve pain.

With Every Joint restriction is a Soft tissue dysfunction

Soft tissue therapy is an important part of our care at Revive Sport & Spine.  Gone are the days where you walk into a chiropractic, physical therapy, or osteopathic office and all you receive is a quick manual adjustment.  If you have visited one of these clinics, we invite you to experience a new, forward-thinking approach to pain relief and movement.  Our sports chiropractic clinic utilizes active and passive myofascial release, dynamic cupping therapy, IASTM tool assisted techniques, and other manual techniques.

Kinesio Taping - Continuing treatment outside the clinic

Kinesio taping is an effective, non-restrictive aid for most sports injuries, including shin splints, IT band syndrome, hamstring & quad strains, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis and runners knee, rotator cuff injuries, as well as neck and back pain.  Performed by a certified sports chiropractor, Kinesio Taping can help speed recovery from a stubborn injury.
