When working with athletes, movement analysis is at the forefront. It has been shown time and time again that with most injuries, movement breakdowns preceded the event likely having a direct cause to the injury. The body has an amazing ability to compensate in order to keep moving, but if these breakdowns are not addressed, injury is inevitable. We also know that the site of pain is rarely the main culprit, because of this, we incorporate Functional Movement Systems & Selective Functional Movement Assessment techniques & protocols to uncover the true underlying cause so that it can be addressed & corrected, leaving the athletes more balanced & less prone to injury.
